Description:

The Provide Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) competency is Nationally Recognised. This unit applies to all levels of sales personnel involved in the sale, service and promotional service of alcohol in licensed premises. Those selling or serving alcohol may include food and beverage attendants; retail liquor sales persons; winery, brewery and distillery cellar door staff and supplier sales representatives. It also applies to security staff who monitor customer behaviour and to the Licensee who is ultimately responsible for RSA management. SITHFAB201 Provide Responsible Service of Alcohol is part of the Tourism, Hospitality and Events Training Package.

Assessment:

Training and assessment is competency based and is made up of written response questions, evidence gathering tasks and practical observations. Your assessor will provide you with the methods of assessment being used prior to assessment and comprehensive feedback once assessment is undertaken.
