Course Name: Certificate II in Hospitality
Duration: 11-22 months
This qualification reflects the role of individuals who have a defined and limited range of hospitality operational skills and basic industry knowledge. They are involved in mainly routine and repetitive tasks and work under direct supervision.
This qualification provides a pathway to work in various hospitality settings, such as restaurants, hotels, motels, catering operations, clubs, pubs, cafés, and coffee shops.
Entry requirements: There are no entry requirements for this qualification, however learners will be required to undertake a Language, Literacy and Numeracy Assessment prior to/at enrolment.
Assessment: Assessment items will vary however, for this qualification will include written questions/answers, project, role plays, log book and observation.
Qualification requirements: 12 units of competency consisting of 6 core units and 6 elective units.
Mode of delivery: This qualification is predominately delivered via classroom training. Learning delivery utilises an online learning platform. Some self-paced study will also be required.
